On May 10, 2026, the world was once again all about movement, togetherness, and hope: At the Wings for Life World Run 2026, hundreds of thousands of people worldwide started to demonstrate their commitment to spinal cord research. HOGO United was also there with full motivation.
18 HOGO United Runners - one common goal
In Upper Austria, Vienna, and Germany, a total of 18 HOGO United runners laced up their running shoes and became part of a global charity event that connects people and does good at the same time. Whether ambitious runner or hobby athlete – one thing was the most important: helping together.
With impressive team spirit, our participants collectively covered 195.37 kilometers, thereby generating €666 in donations. Every single kilometer was a valuable contribution to the research for curing spinal cord injuries.
An event that moves the world
The Wings for Life World Run is now one of the largest charity running events in the world – and incredible numbers were once again achieved in 2026:
- 346,527 runners worldwide
- €9.2 million in donations
- Participants from over 192 countries
- A total of 2.9 million kilometers run
What makes this race special is that 100% of the entry fees and donations go directly to spinal cord research. This isn’t just about participating in sports—it’s about actively shaping the future.
Achieving more together
For HOGO United, participation was far more than just a sporting event. It was a symbol of solidarity, social engagement, and the power of a strong community. Seeing employees and friends run together for a good cause fills with pride and once again shows what is possible when people get involved together.
